What is Christianity Explored?

 

Christianity Explored is an informal 7-week get-together for people who'd like to investigate the Christian faith – and it’s completely free. Looking at Mark's gospel, it explores who Jesus is, why he came and what it means to follow him.

 

Whether you have previous experience of Church, Christianity and the Bible, or none at all, Christianity Explored is for you. Everyone is welcome.  

 

A typical session lasts around 1 to 1½ hours. We’ll look at a short section of the Bible and there will be an opportunity to ask any questions that you have. We’ll then watch a short DVD and afterwards we can chat about what we’ve just heard. 

 

So what do we look at week by week?

 

Week 1:                Good News

Week 2:                Identity

Week 3:                Sin

Week 4:                The Cross

Week 5:                Resurrection

Week 6:                Grace
